PettyAd is a classified ads marketplace that allows users in Egypt to post, browse, and manage listings across various categories. We act as a platform connecting buyers and sellers and are not a party to any transaction between users.
1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use PettyAd.
- By using the app, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
- PettyAd is intended for use within Egypt only.
2 Your Account
- Registration: You may register using your email, phone number, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
- Security: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone.
- Accuracy: You must provide accurate contact details including a valid Egyptian phone number.
- One account per user: Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions is not allowed.
3 Listings & Ads
Posting Ads
- You may post one free ad per day. Additional posts require a paid action.
- All ads must be accurate, honest, and reflect real items or services for sale.
- You must own or have the right to sell any item you list.
- Ads are subject to review and may be removed if they violate these terms.
Refreshing Ads
- You may refresh an ad to move it to the top of search results for a fee of 10 EGP per refresh.
- Payments for refreshes are non-refundable once processed.
4 Prohibited Content
The following are strictly not allowed on PettyAd:
- Illegal items: weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, or anything prohibited by Egyptian law.
- Misleading listings: false descriptions, fake prices, or scam offers.
- Adult content: explicit, sexual, or inappropriate material of any kind.
- Spam: duplicate listings, irrelevant categories, or automated posting.
- Personal data: sharing others' private information without consent.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
5 Payments
- Paid features (such as ad refresh) are processed through Google Play or Apple App Store in-app purchases.
- All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated.
- Payments are handled by Google or Apple and are subject to their respective refund policies.
- PettyAd does not store any payment card information.
6 Intellectual Property
- All content, branding, logos, and app design are owned by PettyAd and may not be copied or reused without permission.
- By posting content on PettyAd, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app.
- You retain ownership of photos and descriptions you upload.
7 Limitation of Liability
PettyAd is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
- The accuracy of any listing description.
- Disputes between buyers and sellers.
- Any loss or damage arising from transactions made through the app.
Always exercise caution when meeting strangers and completing transactions.
8 Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from the app's settings.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
- Upon termination, your listings and data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the app.
